The Bracli

Don’t be fooled by the name. The Bracli, a lace thong made with Manacor pearls, is the perfect accessory for your Brazilian bikini wax. Available at New York City’s La Petite Coquette — whose clientele includes Cindy Crawford, Winona Ryder, Anjelica Huston, Sarah Jessica Parker, Marisa Tomei, and Naomi Campbell — this thong suffers from a ”very very yucky name,” says store owner Rebecca Apsan, who has sold at least 500 red, black, and white Braclis in her shop and on her website ( this month alone. ”But it was created by combining the Spanish word for panty — bragas — and…” well, just think of that female body part Seinfeld’s date’s name rhymed with. Ah-ha. How comfortable is the lingerie, which sells for $69 a pop? It’s not an everyday item, stresses Apsan, whose sales likely got a boost by Sisqo’s unforgettable ode. ”It’s for special occasions.” Proceed with caution.
