Uninitiated adults may have trouble keeping track of the multiple plotlines in Thomas and the Magic Railroad, an agreeable feature version of the hugely popular Thomas the Tank Engine video series, but kids will understand. While Baldwin overacts as a miniconductor and Fonda underacts as a grumpy grampa, the movie’s true star is Diesel 10, an evil engine who terrorizes his fellow trains with his giant claw, Pinchy. He’s a gas. B
