Kevin Spacey has a secret: He’s got bad taste. The gabby vanity project The Big Kahuna — produced by the actor and adapted by Roger Reuff from his own play — sags with fake profundity as two veteran salesmen (Spacey and DeVito) and their naive colleague (Peter Facinelli) pace around a hotel suite praying to reel in a bigwig who may never arrive. They’re waiting for Godot or for the Glengarry leads or whatever. We’re waiting for a sign of original thought. C
