So many corpses, so little time. Since we haven’t tallied on-screen deaths in a couple of weeks, we’ve got a lot of bloody ground to cover: Last weekend, Kevin Bacon’s Hollow Man saw six murders (one drowning, one strangulation, and several stabbings), while Clint Eastwood’s Space Cowboys provided a single, wrinkled stiff. Before that, What Lies Beneath offered two burials, while X-Men scored a mildly heroic six final exits. Kudos to Scary Movie, though, which gave us 18 groan-inducing deaths — including a grandma squashed by a piano and a moviegoer pummeled by a nun. Added to our previous count, this makes for a terrifying total of 435!
