First-time director Saul Rubinek’s hitman flick Jerry and Tom had folks talking at Sundance. In 1998. Ay, there’s the rubout. Even then, watching two killers banter Pulp Fiction-ally was on the edge of stale. Now, despite clever camera work and cameos by William H. Macy and Ted Danson, it’s a setup that’ll hold interest just until you’ve finished folding your laundry. C
