What do the Cult, the Chemical Brothers, and DMX have in common? Nothing, making them perfect participants in the typically pointless blockbuster soundtrack for Gone in Sixty Seconds. Gomez get wimpy with ”Machismo.” Method Man and Redman quote Cypress Hill on ”Da Rockwilder.” Metalheads Caviar inexplicably sample the Left Banke on the flavorless ”Sugarless.” Nothing here is awful (remember Puffy’s mauling of ”Kashmir” on Godzilla?), but nothing on this well-named collection will make you want to hear it again, either.
