Labor Pains

In Labor Pains, the titular contractions are few and far between for Kyra Sedgwick as a Sex and the City-esque single gal who dumps her beau (Rob Morrow) after learning she’s having his baby. Eschewing any shred of realism, she flounces around the maternity ward in a slinky red dress, nattering about male-female relationships. For the viewer of this direct-to-video disappointment, however, the pain is frequent and the labor hard. D
