Novelist and former Tory MP Jeffrey Archer (Kane & Abel), 59, was reportedly arrested April 7 in London and charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. After winning $820,000 in libel damages from Britain’s Daily Star for alleging he slept with a prostitute, Archer admitted last November that he asked a pal to lie on his behalf in the case.
Auteur Billy Bob Thornton (A Simple Plan), 44, and actress Laura Dern (October Sky), 33, have parted after three years. Their publicists had no comment….
