So you think the awards season is finally over? Yeah, and Pedro Almodóvar speaks fluent English. Next up, the delightfully boisterous MTV Movie Awards, hosted by ”Sex and the City”’s Sarah Jessica Parker, airing June 8.

Producer Joel Gallen says that this year there will be a new award category: Best Musical Performance From a Movie. But in what might be the best news of all, Gallen promises the show will ”be a lot shorter than the Academy Awards.”
