Despite its ’40s-style name, MMI comes off a lot more like Roger Ebert than Louella Parsons. The companion site to Monica Sullivan’s San Francisco-based, nationally syndicated radio show provides simultaneous webcasts of the half-hour program; unfortunately, while the interviewees (ranging from Allison Anders to Ed Zwick) number in the hundreds, only a few shows are archived — though you can get a taste of what’s on offer via RealAudio clips of amusing film reviews, discussions with actors and directors, and various online trivia games (”What was Greta Garbo’s real last name?”). Note to Monica: More content would leave us more contented.
