Fans of random explosions and monosyllabic dialogue won’t want to miss the latest attempt in what seems to be Lundgren’s ongoing quest to make Jean-Claude Van Damme seem graceful and astute by comparison. In a vague, cheesy post-apocalyptic future, the Lumbering One is dispatched by an evil warlord (Tagawa) to retrieve his runaway bride (Rachel Shane); along the way, however, our hero gets to ”thinking” and opts to join the Resistance instead.
