Sold Flip’s Flat! 5 BR, 6 BTH spread on Malibu’s prized stretch of private beach
Price $3 million

When it comes to late comedian Flip Wilson‘s house, what you see is what you get: The contemporary-style home has two fireplaces, a gym, a sunken living room, and two master suites overlooking the Pacific. Vacant since Wilson’s death last November, the place was just bought by producer Sandy Gallin (Music of the Heart). (Gallin’s agent is June Scott of Coldwell Banker.) The dwelling sits on 60 feet of the noted Carbon Beach—nicknamed ”Deal Beach” thanks to such high-rolling residents as director Garry Marshall and DreamWorks cofounders Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. Gallin plans a much-needed overhaul of Wilson’s run-down house. According to listing agent Kathryn Yarnell of Pritchett/Rapf & Associates, the comic had let the roost fall into disrepair after a psychic told him it would eventually burn down anyway. In other words, the psychic made him do it!
