An adulterous affair gone bad in a Hollywood movie means Fatal Attraction, but in a foreign film, it means losing everything and writhing and moaning alone in anguish. So goes this sophisticated, multilayered French drama about a 40-year- old book editor (cowriter-director-star Rouan) who gets lost in a sexy tryst with a swarthy younger man (Terral).
