This one-off collaboration between the Fugee and (”straight outta Dublin!”) Bono is about children and poverty and keeping your head up because a new day’s gonna come and the millennium. They rhyme ”ma ma ma ma” with ”father fig-ya.” New Day‘s for a good cause; part of the proceeds go to ”the kids,” or something. At least Bono doesn’t rap.
