In this intricate Spanish sci-fi thriller, handsome young lothario Cesar (Noriega) gets mixed up with a mysterious vixen; their encounter leaves him horribly disfigured. Now he — and we — strain to discern whether his convoluted predicament is real or just a cryogenically induced illusion. While the toothsome young stars are indeed worth watching, the puzzle is ultimately so complex that it leaves the viewer rather perplexed.
