Picking up a guitar and laying his harmonica aside (at least some of the time), Blues Traveler’s frontman delivers a freewheeling solo debut chockablock with expansive folk-pop keepers. If Popper’s songwriting sometimes gets a bit too clever (”He’s in love with his own ideas,” runs one chorus), this airy take on the trademark BT sound has a refreshingly mind-bent sunniness. B
