Hank Williams died for this? Bubblegummers ‘N Sync will hit the Grand Ole Opry House to perform ”God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You” with Alabama, Sept. 22, at the 33rd Annual Country Music Association Awards (the two groups recorded the song together for Alabama’s new album, ”Twentieth Century”).

Lance Bass, ‘N Sync’s resident country fan, says he’s psyched about the gig, but admits he had to educate his band mates: ”The other guys weren’t into country at all, but since I’ve made them listen to it, they actually respect and enjoy a lot of it.” Will they get duded up? ”I don’t think we’ll wear cowboy hats or boots,” says Bass. ”We’ll just look like ‘N Sync — but maybe a little bit dressier.” —
