On the remix compilation Abductions and Reconstructions, they electro-massage David Byrne, lead Baaba Maal to the echo chamber, and ship Stereolab further out in space. DJ Kicks shows off their influences in a mix of easy-listening sambas, cyber-ragas, and lots of bass. It’s music for coming down when the sun’s coming up. Both: B+
