Give her credit for ambition: The first solo single ”Look at Me” from ex-Spice queen Geri Halliwell manages to evoke both Shirley Bassey and brassy New Orleans jazz (while still sounding Spicey enough to satisfy fans). Unfortunately, the track’s I’m-not-as-shallow-as-you-think plea is as gratingly self-serving as it is difficult to believe. B-
