Do Kiss rock out online?
Okay, so it’s not exactly a Psycho Circus, this being the official Kiss Website Fanclub as envisioned by the not-so-raucous suits at merchandiser Sony Signatures. Still, if you need a Kiss fix, you’ll get it in the form of audio clips, fan reviews, more than 3,000 photos, tour dates, and a news archive. Those with more time on their hands can study the colossal encyclopedia of discographies and album inserts, as well as the intricate alphabetical Who’s Who (like, say, Brooke Ostrander, keyboardist and flute player for the early Kiss incarnation Wicked Lester). The catch here is the club dues: Guests can troll the main area free of charge, but you’ll have to kiss goodbye $4.95 a month to get insider goodies and mailing-list exclusives. For that price, you’d think they’d at least throw in a face-painting kit. A-
