Sad as her passing is, at least more people are now discovering this wonderful singer. Although the flawless Dusty in Memphis is the place to start, these reissues of the five albums leading up to that landmark, all on CD in the U.S. for the first time, are worth investigating. The best: 1967’s Look of Love, which contains the classic Bacharach title track and 14 other slinky, string-heavy tunes.
