This souvenir of last summer’s big youth cultural event (featuring Korn, Limp Bizkit, Orgy, Incubus, Rammstein, and token homey Ice Cube) shows what happens to bands that can’t decide if they want to be Megadeth or Public Enemy. Funny: A few years back, a lot of people, myself included, were arguing that rap-metal fusion, with its endless vistas of implied cultural pluralism, might yield some exceptional music. What were we thinking? C
