This is an anomaly both because of Flores’ fat electric guitar solos and her amiable coagulation of styles — imagine Wanda Jackson jamming with Dwight Yoakam in San Antonio. Flores can always be counted on to deliver a set brimming with originality. But a dozen years into her solo career, she finally finds the right mix of alternative and mainstream country, boogie, blues, and Cal-Tex attitude. B+
