Capitalizing on the infamy of guitarist-lead singer ”Stuttering John” Melendez (he’s the resident guerrilla reporter for Howard Stern’s radio show), this trio’s Everybody’s Normal but Me sounds a lot like college rockers Nirvana and Soundgarden circa 1992. Which isn’t such a bad thing. Earnest, catchy surprises like ”Maryanne,” ”Not in This Life,” or ”Pretty Girl” counter dreck like ”Money for Drugs” and the bewildering rap tune ”Cabbies Won’t Go to Harlem,” making for a super-average bar-band set. C+
