Lullaby, a half-droned electro-folk saga about lost souls in the Hollywood Hills, doesn’t say anything we haven’t heard before about the city of fallen angels (and who can hear a raspy-voiced ”boulevard” without having a Lou Reed flashback?). But when Atlanta singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins opens up his sexy smoker’s croon on that big ol’ crescending-piano and drum-looped chorus (”E-ver-y-thing’s gonna be all right, rockabye, rockabye”), resistance is futile.
