New on Video

Weak box office bombs make up this week’s paltry list of video releases. The new TV season (and the Clinton tape) couldn’t have come at a better time.

• Mercury Rising Try “Mercury Bombing.” Bruce Willis and Alec Baldwin star in this action thriller about a 9-year-old autistic boy on the run from the Feds. They’re trying to kill him because he’s cracked one of the government’s top-secret encryption codes. Realistic? Nope. (EW Grade: D+)
• My Giant Billy Crystal brings home a 7’7″ foreigner (real-life NBA center Gheorghe Muresan) to turn him into a Hollywood star. (EW grade: B-)
