As Paramount blankets retail outlets with some 26 million newly-minted copies of “Titanic,” other studios have shied away from releasing any significant titles of their own this week, as evidenced by the anemic lineup of new videos:

  • 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Magic Mountain He’s come a long way since playing “Thunderlips” in Rocky III: Terry Bollea (AKA Hulk Hogan AKA Hollywood Hulk Hogan) sheds his NWO wrestling shorts to star in the fourth film in the “3 Ninjas” series. Loni Anderson and Jim Varney also appear.
  • Homegrown Billy Bob Thornton, Hank Azaria, and Ryan Phillippe are flying high as three pot-farming oafs who gain control of a $3 million pot crop after their wealthy boss (John Lithgow) gets killed. (EW grade: B)
  • Barney’s Great Adventure Purple may be, like, way uncool for the high school set, but their preschool counterparts still think Barney, the cuddly purple-hued dinosaur, is boss. In “Barney’s Great Adventure: The Movie,” the bipedal ‘saur searches for a magical egg on a farm.
