A Life Less Ordinary

The compilers of this soundtrack attempt to repeat the success they had with Trainspotting, but with mixed results. Beck’s buoyant ”Deadweight” is the highlight, but it sounds like he’s treading water. The loopy techno-gospel of A3’s ”Peace in the Valley” runs a close second: fresher than Underworld’s and Prodigy’s electronica retreads.
