PAUL MCCARTNEY After his rickety first foray into symphonic music, McCartney used his computer to create a new opus, fleshed out and given form by the London Symphony. For this 75-minute tone poem about the mystery of creation, McCartney whips up impressionistic orchestral sonorities, occasionally brooding but mostly sunny (he was the happy Beatle, after all). Creation was a good thing, and, on its humble merits, so is this. B-
