On the sophomore effort by hip-hop supergroup Gravediggaz, guest rappers Killah Priest, Omen, and Hell Razor spin oblique horror stories from ghetto hell over bruising beats by RZA and Prince Paul. But their relentlessly bleak worldview grows tiresome, making Prince Paul’s solo side project a welcome antidote. Flitting across dance-music styles with giddy abandon, Paul crafts bumptious Technicolor jams that are a far cry from Gravediggaz’s stark, sepia-toned scenarios. Shovel: B Psychoanalysis: B+
