''Blood on the Dance Floor''

Remember when Wacko’s dance hits were breezy and happy? Continuing in the grumpy vein of ”Jam” and ”Scream,” this club-designed thumper, ”Blood on the Dance Floor” (one of five new tracks from his upcoming remix album) finds the supposedly content newlywed still seething, this time about a duplicitous woman who’s ”out to get me” and who ”got your baby/It happened fast.” Teddy Riley’s dated new-jack beats only succeed in making Michael Jackson seem more uptight. Let’s just hope he doesn’t use it to serenade little Prince to sleep. C
