As a producer, Steve Fisk is a grunge legend, having twiddled knobs for heavyweights like Nirvana. As Pigeonhed, though, Fisk and coconspirator Shawn Smith don’t fly the flannel. Instead, the duo serve up a stoned soul picnic, trip-hopping from ”It’s Like the Man Said” to the title track’s stirring falsetto pyrotechnics.
