This U.K. bubblegum quintet struts like an, um, En Vogue wannabe, but their wafer-thin voices make them come off more like a female New Kids. Lurching from ABBA-style choruses to unconvincing hip-hop, the Spice Girls’ international smash is more a compendium of music styles than an actual song. Still, there’s something endearing about the goofily formulaic Euro pop of “Wannabe.”
