Without even seeing the film, you can track its let’s-fight-then-fall-in-love plotline from One Fine Day, a compilation of make-out standards (Tony Bennett’s ”What a Difference a Day Makes”), remakes (Keb’ Mo’s bluesy ”The Glory of Love”), and newly minted tunes. The Chiffons’ classic ”One Fine Day” is here, of course, but Natalie Merchant’s yearning slow-dance version of the song is a romantic thrill.
