John Anderson: Greatest Hits

This 15-song collection is actually the third greatest-hits album from the funky John Anderson (the first two covered his early Warner Bros. years) and reprises only a hackneyed remake of ”Swingin”’ from that time. Although his post-Warner Bros. years at MCA and Capitol are missing on John Anderson: Greatest Hits, there’s still plenty to please from his BNA period that followed, including ”Money in the Bank,” ”Straight Tequila Night,” and ”When It Comes to You” — all delivered in Anderson’s inimitable swamp-creature baritone.
