Henry Rollins is fast becoming the Jim Morrison of the ’90s. Unfortunately, it’s the self-parodying Jimbo that Rollins most recalls on Everything, a two-CD ”audio book.” Over intermittent jazz accompaniment, our man rants and raves about dysfunction, corruption, and desperation for nearly two hours. Back when he sang with Black Flag, he could make the same point — life stinks — in two minutes flat. This is progress? C
