The price may be right, but the two-song trifle Hootie & the Blowfish: ”Old Man and Me (When I get to Heaven)” will appeal mainly to die-hard Hootie aficionados. Aside from the non-album bonus track, a cover of Foster and Lloyd’s ”Before the Heartache Rolls In” — virtually indistinguishable from your run-of-the-mill Hootie tune — the disc’s ”enhancements” are predictable and probably better suited to such traditional media as paper (cursory bios of the band members) and magnetic tape (the video of ”Old Man,” currently airing on MTV). But the worst part is that whenever the program is idle, it reverts to playing a stultifying two-bar loop from the title song. C-
