Ozzy’s true post-Black Sabbath talents lie more in heartfelt melodrama than in bat-head-chomping horror. On Ozzmosis he’s most tolerable when he’s sappy, especially on ”Ghost Behind My Eyes.” But given that the shortest tracks run nearly five minutes, this album feels like a parody of the most overinflated opera.
