How’s this for fan loyalty: A crazed teen at one of this speed-metal band’s concerts bares his forearms to the camera, blood trickling from the freshly carved Slayer logo that’ll stay with him forever. Elsewhere in Live Intrusion, a 15-song concert tape from the recent Divine Intervention tour, death metal’s psycho minstrels blaze through such staples as ”Raining Blood” and ”Angel of Death” with such maniacal precision that you won’t mind sitting through the moronic behind-the-scenes footage that pads out the package. Twelve cameras do their best to capture the insanity of a Slayer show, with one strategically placed in the midst of the frenzied mosh pit, delivering the teenage tribal rite of passage to you in the safety of your living room with the impact of a shot of Jägermeister.
