Blue Oyster Cult: Workshop of the Telescopes (Legacy/Columbia) For a bunch of metal eggheads who wrote songs with titles like ”Dominance and Submission,” BOC were pretty tame, as this double-CD retrospective reveals. Their early days don’t sound nearly as menacing as they once did, but any reissue with ”Career of Evil” and later-period, power-gliding hits like ”Don’t Fear the Reaper” and ”Burnin’ for You” still belongs in any pop-metalhead’s collection.
