It’s one of the curiosities of the interactive age that a paradigmatic slack-rocker like Beck could inspire the adulation to generate a website. This fan-created page looks professional enough — I especially like the Warholesque Beck portraits that serve as a table of contents — but its real charm derives from its unquestioning idol worship, as evidenced by such comments as ”Beck’s acoustic show was awesome and he seemed happy to be playing for a big crowd of happy Beck fans.” There’s a photo gallery, sound clips, and an obsessive disc ography that even includes the obscure single ”MTV Makes Me Want to Smoke Crack.” B+
