You know her as CNN Headline News‘ prime-time anchor. But Russell is also a deputy sheriff (for Georgia’s Fulton County), a private eye, a travel writer, and (soon) a second-degree black belt in Choi Kwang Do. In her voluminous spare time, she may be watching one of these videos:

The Third Man, 1949
One of those movies that never should be colorized, with Carol Reed’s oblique camera shots and creative lighting that work only in black and white.
Moonstruck, 1987
Instead of Nicolas Cage and Cher, you could cast this movie with my Italian relatives. It’s so Italian: Family business is conducted in the kitchen. The heart rules the head in every circumstance.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, 1986
It’s a reminder that you can get away with just about anything, like Matthew Broderick does, if you act like you know what you’re doing.
