Country’s newest quartet, 4 Runner, draws on the wedding of gospel vocal stylings and secular subject matter popularized by the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers on their self-titled album. ”Good Lookin’,” which compares a woman’s body to a car, proves they can be as hokey as the Oaks, but unlike the Statlers, they’re sentimental without being mawkish.
