Music Review: 'Bad Boys (soundtrack)'

The standouts on this reggae- and hip-hop-flavored soundtrack are not the stars (2Pac and Ini Kamoze) but the up-and-comers: Xscape’s lovely ”Work Me Slow,” Juster’s Beastie Boys-like ”Boom Boom Boom,” and especially Diana King’s ”Shy Guy” — a seamless merging of Anita Baker and dancehall reggae. B
