ZEPPELIN (MicroProse, CD-ROM for MS-DOS, $47.95) How very ironic that this historical-simulation game about lighter-than-air ships should be so leaden. The monochromatic graphics, old-timey sepia-print photos, and Germanic lettering repel the eye; slow response time and minimal screen action dull the senses. All of this makes your struggle to build, deploy, and profit from dirigibles that much more grueling. As an educational game, Zeppelin is far too sluggish; and as entertainment, it’s far too earnest.
