Waiting around in nightclubs to catch a glimpse of an elusive star would be more exciting than playing this clever but frustrating celebrity-photographer parody, Paparazzi! Tales of Tinseltown. After gleaning ambiguous tips from TV clips and telephone messages, you pursue star surrogates like Jucia Rogers and Shawn Pendleton, hoping to catch them and then with your camera and nose intact. These infrequent brushes with fame, however, give you the feeling that — like much of Hollywood’s fare — you’ve been left with a lot of style but not much substance. C+
