The box says that this disc offers ”everything needed to achieve small business success.” If this is everything, then you’d better start queuing up for the unemployment line. First of all, the text-heavy Multimedia MBA: Small Business Edition is not truly multimedia. The chapters are full of professional gobbledygook — the same kind you cut class in order to avoid. Plus, the program takes on too much material. Instead of providing you with retailing forms and human-resources templates, the disc’s producers should have included 10 or 20 one-minute video clips outlining the workings of the business world in the ’90s. Of the few video segments presented, ice cream moguls Ben and Jerry offer useful and peppy ideas, but the rest are yawners. C-
