James Redfield on what he’s reading now

I’ve got a bunch of favorite books. One is Flat Rock Journal by Ken Carey; it’s a really neat book about living in the Ozarks. I’m reading a book called Healing Words, by Larry Dossey, M.D. It’s about the power of prayer as it affects healing and medicine. He says that the scientific evidence is already there that visualization and prayer have a positive impact on patients. There’s also a book called Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey Through Parallel Universes, Time Warps, and the Fifth Dimension by Michio Kaku; it assumes that we live in a universe that has 10 dimensions, not just four. I love the fact that modern physics is beginning to explore what were essentially mystical descriptions of the universe.
