Judd Nelson plays a professional display-window mannequin in Flinch — and you can insert your own painfully accurate joke here. But Nick Mancuso makes up for Nelson’s shortcomings in his turn as a psychotic sculptor who strangles his victim in front of the store where Nelson and his irritating love interest (Gena Gershon) are posing. Still, Mancuso can’t keep this ultra-lame film from getting caught up in cutesy romantic plotting. Flinch is just more fodder for Nelson’s burgeoning direct-to-video career, bolstered by his inexplicable box office clout in Europe. D
