6 Feet Deep

This group of rap all-stars, including Wu-Tang Clan’s Prince Rakeem and superproducer Prince Paul (De La Soul), obviously had some spare time on their hands: 6 Feet Deep is an album of horror movie-style music, on which all the rhymes revolve around cartoonish maiming and murder. The album doesn’t take itself very seriously, but the flustered beats, washed in minor chords, are strangely irresistible — partly because it is all so silly. B
